Fast audio export
|
Interoperability between digital audio workstations on different platforms is handled by Sequoia’s Import- and Export functions. All necessary broadcast professional formats for import- and export are handled by Sequoia as standard. No additional tools or add-ons are required. In time-critical situations audio engineering comes down to producing, finalizing and delivering the project in the most effective way. Therefore, Sequoia enables to bounce a finished project offline – without the need of real-time playback. Thanks to its object-based, non-destructive editing functions, Sequoia enables the user to export audio without real-time bounce thus saving precious production time. Especially for large-scale productions, radio plays or concerts with playing times of several hours, real-time bouncing can be a limiting time factor.

AAF / OMF
Data exchange between various DAWs and exporting to various interfaces can cost lots of time. Sequoia now offers integrated OMF/AAF support to simplify data exchange between programs and platforms.
Together with the EDL export for MAGIX Video Pro X and compatibility to other products from the Samplitude/Sequoia family, Sequoia can be seamlessly integrated into almost every form of digital audio editing, without slowing down the work flow.

MPEG Encoding
Encoding of audio files in MP3 or AAC for mobile applications becomes more and more important in radio broadcast production.
MPEG-1 Layer 2 (MP2),however remains the standard format most widely used. Sequoia includes all MPEG formats.
Supported formats:
.mp3, .mp2, .mpeg, .mpa, .mp4, .m4a, .aac

Video
Video can be imported into the Sequoia project in various formats. Sequoia natively supports:
Supported formats:
.avi, .wmv, .mov, .mxv, .m2v, .vob, .qt, .asf, .mpg, .dv
Videos that have been dubbed or mixed with Sequoia may be exported as new files including final mixes. Complete Sequoia projects can also be exchanged with MAGIX Video Pro X on the fly.
Supported formats:
.mpeg2, .dv-avi, .mov, .mxv

DDP
DDP stands for Disc Description Protocol and describes the structure of a file group that is used for creating CDs or DVDs. Sequoia enables a CD project to be exported in the DDP standard.
DDP is still considered by many mastering engineers to be superior when it comes to data and transfer security. With the integrated MAGIX DDP Xport tool, you can write a DDP file in the 1.01 or 2.0 standard to the hard disc for online transfer to a publisher. All PQ and production data is included.
The integrity of your master can be verified after assignment. Existing DDPs can be re-imported for re-editing or for re-compilation
DDP features in Sequoia:
- Import DDP 1.0x und 2.00 Image Files (loadback)
- Cue Sheet (cue) support
- CD Architect CD image support
- Drag and Drop of Zip files with DDP Image
- Display of PQ-codes, ISRC, MCN, CD text
- RedBook compliance checking
- PQ Sheet pdf Export
