Find Audio
|
Finding musically similar passages of audio is a time-consuming task, especially in large-scale projects with multiple tracks and huge take counts. Sequoia’s Find Audio function supports the user by searching entire projects for selected audio and sorting the results according to several match criteria. Not only time- or frequency-domain parameters (envelope, frequency response) are analyzed, but a large set of psychoacoustic and music parameters. The easy-to-use, yet powerful function enhances workflows not only in finding similar material, but also for fast exchange of audio parts in a project. |

Multi-synchronous editing (Patent Pending)
The goal of MuSyC is to minimize time spent looking for similar passages of music, thereby accelerating the editing process.
MuSyC extends working with source and destination projects by adding an overview project.
If a section of music has been recorded multiple times, then this will normally be available in the source as different takes. The overview project provides the primary navigation in the source.
The takes are represented by one object each. Musically equivalent content is arranged in ascending order and displayed in a temporally ideal manner. This allows you to switch between takes exactly according to the music to keep an overview of alternative recordings.
If the active track (i.e. the active take) is switched in the overview project, the playback position and the "source points" will be automatically synchronized in the respective source project.
